Carol Ann Tomlinson’s career as an educator has spanned 50 years during which she taught in public school for 21 years and at the University of Virginia for 29 years. She continues to work U.S. and internationally with teachers who seek to create classrooms that are responsive to the varied learning needs, cultures, languages, and experiences of their students.  Her books on differentiation are available in 14 languages.
