
Dr. Nasir Mahmood
Dr. Nasir Mahmood is Dean, Faculty of Education and Professor of Education in Department of Science Education at Allama Iqbal Open University. He has completed Post doctorate in the field of Science Education from University of Leeds, UK.
He is honoured with the 2009 Executive Endeavour Award by Government of Australia at Assessment Research Centre, University of Melbourne, Australia. He is member of National Accreditation Council for Teachers (NACTE). He has 30 years of experience as teacher, researcher and trainer at school and university level. He has completed 56 research projects/grants as Principal, Co-Principal and team member. These grants/projects were funded by Official Development Assistance (ODA), UK, Punjab Middle Schooling Project (PMSP)-Asian Development Project, Department for International Development (DFID), ADB Teacher Training Project, UNESCO, HEC, UNICEF, British Council, Gender Equity Program USAID and Tecaher Education Project-USAID.
He has 62 research papers published in national and international peer reviewed journal. He frequent speaker in seminars, conferences and workshops at national and international level. He has conducted several training sessions on content analysis, quantitative data analysis, use of SPSS and research skills for international, national agencies, public and private sector universities
